Who we are

DNB's User Profile team is building our new identity and access management platform in the cloud to support new upcoming applications and initiatives - both internal and external, all on open standards and modern best practices. We are working agile where we take responsibility of the whole chain from inception, design, implementation, testing, deployment and operation. We build it - we own it - we run it.

In many regards we are on the bleeding edge of technology and are pushing the envelope to provide the best, most secure and user-friendly experience possible. We are pushing our vendors to provide functionality that doesn't yet exist, and we are always checking new standards and drafts. We constantly work on simplifying development and deployment processes. We are strong believers in automation, pipelining and infrastructure as code.

What you will be doing

• Work in the user profile team to design, develop, test, deploy andsupport technical solutions for identity and access management, privacy and profile services
• Be part of building the new strategic identity platform for the bank
• Invent new ways of interacting with the bank as a secure and frictionless as possible
• Have an impact on shaping the future of banking through technology 

What we need

In order to succeed at this role, you need to be passionate about your craft and have some battle scars from failing a few times before. You love solving complex problems and want to automate everything. You get an itch to fix a bug when you find it and you get excited by seeing what you built being used in production by millions of users. Learning new technologies and standards is second nature to you. You need to be the kind of person who question the status quo and wants to be on the barricades because that's where the fun happens. We see that you are a corporate rebel.

We don't expect you to be an expert in the field of identity and access management, but we expect you to be have an interest in identity, authentication, authorization and security and to be willing to learn. If you have previous experience in IAM it is of course a big plus!

Qualifications

• Background in at least one modern programming language (like Java, C#, Go, Ruby, Python, etc)
• Git proficency
• Experience with modern DevOps concepts and tools, this might include:  
  • Containerization (Docker, Rkt, etc)
  • Container orchestration (ECS, Kubernetes, EKS, etc)
  • Infrastructure provisioning (Cloudformation, Terraform)
  • Software provisioning (Ansible, Chef, etc)
  • CI/CD (Jenkins, Gitlab, etc)
  • Monitoring (Datadog, Zabbix, Nagios, etc)
  • Logging (Splunk, ELK, etc)
• Worked with at least one cloud service provider (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Linux proficiency
  • Shell scripting
  • Linux monitoring
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Strong understanding of security practices
• Good communication skills in English
