We are looking for a Senior Embedded Hardware Engineer in our Stavanger office to strengthen our team developing the next generation of measurement solutions.

The position will be part of the Engineering & Development (E&D) team including embedded software-, embedded hardware-and mechanical design engineers. Together we develop state-of-the-art products for measurement.

Roxar Flow Measurement is an Emerson company providing an industry leading portfolio of solutions designed to optimize oil & gas reservoir performance.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Develop new products and redesign existing products
• Carry design through the full development cycle from specifications to manufacturing
• Develop test plans that challenges and proves the design
• Work with systems engineering to develop complete product solutions
• Participate in embedded SW/HW project team efforts including planning, scheduling and technical execution

Required qualifications and experience:

• University/Engineering degree within electronics, cybernetics, instrumentation, computer science or similar.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience with developing embedded systems.
• In-depth and proven experience with analog or digital electronics and embedded design, preferably from industrial applications
• Strong upfront design skills coupled with a strong process mindset for quality Strong track record with electronics circuit design, including microcontrollers, FPGAs, power supplies, data acquisition, communication interfaces/protocols and control systems.
• Proven experience with design tools for schematic or PCB-layout tools like Altium Designer, PADS, OrCad, Eagle or similar.
• In-depth and proven experience with board bring-up and debugging of embedded electronics
• Some experience in software development
• System design and application experience is desirable
