About the department/team:

The Marketing Team is divided into group and local functions. The Marketing Team is responsible for developing and executing campaigns to support brand building and awareness, correct positioning and demand generation in the Basefarm markets.

The department is responsible for the digital contact points of clients and prospects, including websites, marketing automation, social media and other digital platforms. 

 

About the position:

In collaboration with Product Managers in the Product & Services department and Sales & Marketing, the primary goal of the position is to develop and deliver go-to-market strategies and demand generation programmes, as well as create the value proposition for all Basefarm´s offerings. This includes communicating the product´s value and benefits to the market and supporting Basefarm´s commercial objectives. You will also be responsible for measurement of product marketing activities. 

The Senior Product Marketing Manager will be part of the Marketing Team and reports to the Marketing Manager Norway.


Main areas of responsibility:

Main objectives, increase awareness of Basefarm´s Product & Services portfolio, create demand generation & up/cross sell.

  • Implement a Product Marketing strategy (planning, execution, follow-up)
  • In cooperation with Marketing and Product Managers, take charge of the development and execution of value propositions, launch of new products & services, marketing, and go-to-market strategies
  • Craft and develop compelling audience-specific messages, contant and tools (top-level in-service catalogue, sales material and product related in-bound marketing content, product videos, web landing pages, customer success stories, whitepapers, presentations, eBooks etc.)
  • Manage technology partners, external consultants and vendors to create campaigns, deliver on time and budget
  • Report and manage budgets, forecasting and reporting. Analyze and make recommendations for improved execution and ROI
  • Work effectively across the organization with groups such as Product Management, Business Development, Sales & Marketing in order to achieve the business goals
  • In collaboration with Presales, support and train Sales & Marketing staff on commercial messaging

 

Main deliverables:

  • Product Marketing Strategy, planning and execution
  • Create and launch new product & services, go-to-market campaigns including up selling
  • Create and own product messaging and positioning
  • Create and own content plan and production, i.e web product pages, product material, whitepaper
  • Own partner marketing activities
  • Field marketing & product marketing activities (organize training, in-house events, webinars, seminars across countries)

 

We are looking for:       

A self-motivated and driven person who is solutions orientated and service minded. You should be able to naturally develop strong working relationships across all parts of the business and across borders, whilst working independently to achieve the agreed targets.

In terms of experience/skills, we would like you to have the following:

  • Bachelor´s Degree (B.S./B.A.) or equivalent experience, relevant fields of study, including Marketing, Business, Cloud and Computer Science
  • Five years of related experience with Technology Product Marketing
  • Knowledge about cloud, security, data-driven solutions and digital workspace technology and the market
  • Strong knowledge of marketing strategies and experience of executing product and marketing campaigns
  • Strong understanding of customer solutions
  • Good analytical skills and proficiency in the use of social media
  • Excellent communication skills in both Norwegian and English.
