Smart Cylinders is a Norwegian company founded at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology in 2017. Our mission is to simplify and improve the global gas delivery industry. We use advanced sensors and machine learning technology to provide gas distributors with a powerful tool to improve delivery logistics and cut costs. This leads to a significantly reduced carbon footprint and improved customer satisfaction.

Smart Cylinders is seeking a full stack developer to join our growing team. We are looking for a dedicated developer who loves a challenge and wants be part of an ambitious tech-company in rapid growth. You´re not necessarily an expert at everything, but we do believe you have some kind of superpowers when it comes to programming. You are eager to learn, and you know how get the job done. We also believe that you are a team player, and a likable person.

What you will be doing

• Developing multiple frontend- and backend applications
• Developing multiple customer-facing mobile applications
• Working on Smart Cylinders’ data pipeline
• Working with complex software integrations
• Working with the design and implementations of algorithms 

You should apply if you

• have a burning passion for programming and technology
• have a desire to acquire and share knowledge
• love both individual work and collaboration
• love a challenge, and are not afraid to approach tasks which at first seem daunting
• have some experience developing frontend and backend applications
• have some theoretical background in computer science or mathematics
• have interest in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, cloud computing
• have interest in modern development concepts and is not afraid to adopt new technologies and new methodologies
• have professional proficiency in English
