Business Developer - Internet of Things

Tampnet is growing, and we are now looking for a Business Developer – For Internet of Things to join our team.

Do you have a proven track record of managing, leading and implementing multiple client-facing projects within a technology environment? Then you are the one we are looking for!

The overall purpose for this role is driving innovation and development of use cases for Tampnet´s IOT portfolio. We are looking forward to staffing experienced Business Development Manager to drive our IOT Products Business in the areas of Offshore. You will work closely with our CDO, Marketing, Sales Specialist, Partner Organization, and our Technology team.

As the IOT Business Development Manager, you will identify and close Design-In Opportunities for our Infrastructure in the areas of Oil and Gas and Offshore wind. In addition, you will be responsible for driving the following related to our Product portfolio:

·        Product Acceleration

·        Channel Enablement

·        Support Strategic Deals

·        Definition and testing of use cases

The Business Developer –reports to the Chief Digital Officer.

Main responsibilities and tasks

·        Set strategic directions for our IOT business

·        Conduct market analyses

·        Identify and design use cases for IOT

·        Actively involved in testing, and project management of IOT projects and use cases

·        Conduct sales meetings and identify new opportunities

·        Build and Update Tampnet´s IOT sensor library

·        Qualification requirements

·        Preferable Master’s Degree in Telecommunications or Computer Science

·        Related industry experience in the field of IOT

·        Understanding of the IoT sector and the IOT platform

·        Proven experience in sales strategy definition and execution

·        Experience in account management

·        Project management skills

·        Effective in interactions with senior level management, ability to communicate complex ideas concisely to both a technical and non-technical audience
