We are looking for Senior Piping Engineer

For our client in the oil&gas industry we are now looking for a senior Piping Engineer, Pipe Stress

Tasks and Responsibilities

• General piping engineering for offshore projects
• Establish piping design briefs and design reports
• Design and design verification of piping systems according to piping standards and 3rd party classification society
• Perform stress calculations for piping systems, piping components and other process equipment
• Communication with 3rd party classification society and responsible to achieve 3rd party design approval of the actual piping systems.General piping engineering for offshore projects
• Establish pipe stress isometric drawings
  

We are looking for you who has knowledge and interest in piping engineering with a bachelor or master degree in mechanical engineering. You need to have experience with piping design for offshore or marine industry and is a proficient user of software for pipe stress calculations (Caesar II).  You also need to have good knowledge related to international codes and standards for piping engineering and 5 to 10 years work experience from piping design for offshore or marine industry

You need to have good oral and written proficiency in Norwegian and English. You will work in an innovative and highly competent environment and as such you should value new challenges, be curious and seek to understand new technology.
