We are searching for a highly motivated Manager financial reporting and control to our headquarter in Asker. This newly established position will have a central role in the creation of a leading finance function for the future. You will have responsibilities for reporting and control in the whole business area and assist Director Finance & Accounting in all relevant aspects. We can offer you an exciting opportunity in a high paced global finance function.

What you'll do:

• Drive the monthly closing process for the Business Area, with consolidation and control activities
• Contribute in reporting to management, the Board of directors and the Kongsberg Group
• Participate in developing the global accounting and reporting function
• Support and guide foreign subsidiaries with regards to financial reporting and internal control
• Establish and maintain operational reporting to the Business units
• Advise the rest of the financial organization on matters of accounting and reporting
• Contribute to continuous improvement, automation and streamlining of the reporting process
• Responsible for improving and implementing group accounting principles and internal controls over financial reporting and processes
• Perform various financial analysis
• Perform various project-related tasks

Qualifications

• Higher economic degree, masters in professional accountancy (MRR) is an advantage
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, preferably from audit and relevant positions in a corporate department
• Experience with consolidation, IFRS and internal controls over financial reporting
• Previous experience with Microsoft Dynamics and HFM is an advantage.
• Strong analytical capabilities and an interest in the use of technology to create efficient processes
• Strong oral and written communication skills in both Norwegian and English.
