About
The consultant will work in a team with other engineers. The tasks will cover all aspects of BOP/Well control systems, including operational procedures, design and operability, structural verifications, inspections and maintenance. The consultant is expected to collaborate with several sectors in Drilling and well technology.Responsibilities
- Follow up BOP/well control systems on drilling units on a daily basis
- Provide discipline advise
- Verification of contractors/3rd party analyses
- Verification of BOP/Well control equipment during rig mobilisation
Responsibilities continuation
- Master or Bachelor degree
- Min. 10 years of relevant experience
- Experience from design, development, survey or operation of well control equipment
- Operational experience from MODU and deep water operations
- General knowledge of drilling equipment
Language: English
Work location: Onshore, Stavanger, sporadic offshore
Contract period: Asap - 31.12.2020
