As a member of Norway Accounting & Controlling team, you will ensure that Norwegian accounting laws and regulations are adhered to. You will also support businesses in all requirements related to IFRS guidelines.

What are my responsibilities?
•         Ensure transactions are recorded in conformance with IFRS and Financial Reporting Guidelines
•         Prepare statutory financial statements for Norwegian entities
•         Ensure month end closing process is executed smoothly in coordination with Global Shared Services and Regional Hub
•         Ensure adequate internal controls are in place and SOA obligations are adhered to
•         Monitor key Balance Sheet positions
•         Support quarterly and yearly external audit process by providing timely information and resolve queries from auditor qualitatively
•         Provide local country training as well as support and guidance to the businesses for the various accounting processes and initiatives
•         Participate in regional harmonization initiatives

What do I need to qualify for this job?
•         Degree in Accounting/Chartered Accountant or equivalent  
•         More than 4 years of experience in Accounting & Finance
•         Fluent English and Norwegian
•         Accounting IFRS
•         Knowledge of SAP
•         Analytical skills
