We are now looking for an experienced candidate to handle the supply chain both on strategic and operational level. Our new Supply Chain Manager (SCM) will report to COO and will be a member of the Operations management team. The SCM will head the central supply chain team and be stationed at our production facility in Skien, Norway. Main strategic and operational responsibilities:

Head department responsible for supply planning, order fulfilment, warehouses, and SC Development
Leadership of currently 8 direct reports
Secure a supply chain set-up and management supporting the overall business targets
Develop and implement the supply chain strategy and KPI’s, including DC (Distribution Center) strategy
Order handling and coordination towards other business units
Continuous improvement and management of the Sales and Operational Process
Manage daily planning activities on site and monthly supply plan process
Run periodically ABC analysis and contribute in NPD (new product development) processes
Coordinate and optimize the flow of goods and inventories throughout the supply chain
Manage and improve master data process for new products and materials
Ensure that procedures referencing supply planning and scheduling are developed / updated.
Identify and escalate supply risks
Performance follow-up (Proactive in action, KPI reporting and follow up)

Education & experience:

Leadership experience within supply chain management, preferably from complex operations including production
MSc or bachelors degree within supply chain, logistics or engineering / business.
Proficient in MRP systems (AX) and Microsoft Excel
Experience from restructuring and change management
Excellent communication skills in English and preferrably Norwegian

The Kebony® technology modifies wood by forming stable, locked-in furan polymers in the wood cell walls. These increase the dimensional stability, as well as durability and hardness, of the wood.
The process is based on impregnation with furfuryl alcohol, which is produced from agricultural crop waste. Kebony thus uses a plant-derived waste product to give enhanced strength and durability to another plant product - namely wood.
