We seek a Structural Engineer on behalf of our client

Our client is hiring a Structural Engineer for a 6 month period. Preferred experience and expertise in onshore and offshore EPCIC and V&M projects on the Norwegian continental shelf. 

Responsibilities

• Structural analysis, calculations and design reports of main, secondary and outfitting structures
• Execute structural concept and FEED studies.
• Checking of other engineers' analysis and calculation reports
• Interaction with other disciplines
• Develop design of outfitting structures in close co-operation with designer and other disciplines.
• Structural calculations and analysis
• Documentation of strength and design according to governing codes and specifications
• Drawing checks and Offshore surveys

Qualifications

• Master or Bachelor degree with Min 5-10 years Experience with structural design on floating and fixed installations.
• Experience in using 3D model either PDMS or NavisWorks in order to find information related to the structural analysis work.
• Have Performed Structural steel design including analyses and documentation
• Have designed permanent and temporary lifting arrangements, etc
• Open minded with focus on team efforts
• Solution oriented with the right attitude
• Software skill: Sesam, Genie, Staad pro, MS office, PDMS (review) and general good IT experience.
• Language Skills: English. Norwegian language skills is an advantage
