Engineer - Technical Documentation

The position is a vacancy for approximately 15 months with possibility for extension. The position will be at Orkanger workplace.

Job Description:

·        Develop technical documentation related to project activities within contractual requirements, including As-built documentation

·        Have excellent understanding of international standards related to the business

·        Participate in meetings, as required

·        Support projects in meeting contractual requirements related to document deadlines

·        Plan and follow up on documentation activities and documentation status

·        Perform document and specification reviews

·        Assist with development, maintenance and improvement of document work processes

·        Responsible for maintaining templates in-line with latest common standards/specifications

·        Back-up for Document Control

Qualifications:

·        Engineer degree, preference in Chemistry or Materials

·        Experience in similar role, preferably from the Oil and Gas Industry

·        Fluent in written and spoken English

·        Accuracy and attention to detail

·        Able to work independently

·        Ability to evaluate alternatives and make decisions within established procedures

·        Capable of adapting to changes in processes and systems

·        Good skills in Microsoft Office products
