Software Developers - Machine Learning (2 positions)

The ideal candidates should have solid knowledge of machine learning and software development. You want to work with neural networks for use in advanced imaging, and you have an education that allows you to understand and implement methods for image analysis. At Nisonic you will work closely with researchers at SINTEF and clinicians to train and perform testing of neural networks based on ultrasound images and clinical parameters.

We are collecting clinical data from several hospitals, including the University Hospital in Oslo, Ullevål. The data will be analysed in collaboration with researchers at SINTEF, and the data will be used for training of neural networks as well as method development in image processing. You will be an important member of the team developing and implementing new methods for non-invasive intracranial pressure measurements, and you will be involved in all steps from data collection to implementation of solutions in a medical device.

Tasks will be to:

• Implement Deep Learning methods as well as other image segmentation and processing methods
• Train neural networks using large amounts of data, including annotation of ultrasound images
• Implement solutions for analyzing data stored in cloud services

Relevant qualifications and interests:

• Master's degree in relevant areas such as computer science, computer technology, electronics, physics or mathematics, with good knowledge of machine learning and programming.
• Preferably 2 years’ experience as a software developer, but new graduates with relevant background are also encouraged to apply.
• Experience with Tensorflow, Keras, Python and C ++.
• Knowledge of image processing methods and ultrasound imaging is an advantage.
• As part of the development team, you may benefit from experience in software testing.
