Application Manager ? Financial Consolidation

Global Shared Services (GSS) delivers IT-based services to the Telenor Group and its subsidiaries. The CPM team within the GSS IT Operations department is responsible for managing the Telenor Group?s Corporate Performance Management (CPM) systems, which are used for financial consolidation, forecasting, analysis, and reporting. The overall objectives for the CPM team are to enable decision makers within the Telenor Group to make good and timely decisions, and to provide system support for the Telenor Group?s reporting activities.

We are looking for an Application Manager to join our team. In this role, you will perform technical administration, development, and maintenance of the Telenor Group?s applications for financial consolidation and reporting, and play an important part in the improvement processes in this area. The Application Manager ? Financial Consolidation reports to the head of the CPM team in GSS IT Operations.

Main duties and responsibilities

• Provide and operate Group applications for financial consolidation and reporting
• Maintain master data hierarchies which are required for Group reporting purposes
• Update application master data and implement functional changes to the Group consolidation applications
• Provide super user support and training in the use of Group consolidation applications

Preferred qualifications

• At least three years of IT or Finance education on university level, preferably a combination of IT and Finance education
• Excellent working knowledge of Oracle Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) version 11.1.2.x, preferably at least three years of experience as an HFM administrator and/or HFM application developer
• In-depth knowledge about legislation and international standards pertaining to corporate accounting and financial consolidation in a listed entity with operations in many countries
• Thorough knowledge of financial reporting processes in a large corporation
• Working knowledge of Oracle Data Relationship Management (DRM) and/or Enterprise Data Management
• General and professional English language proficiency, as English is the corporate language and most of the internal communication and interaction is in English

Bonus qualifications

• Working knowledge of Oracle EPM Cloud / FCCS
• Working knowledge of EPM Maestro, Oracle FDMEE, and/or similar integration tools used with HFM/FCCS
• Experience with relational databases

• Some international travel activities must be expected (1-3 times per year)
