NOV's training centers in Stavanger and Kristiansand are looking for course instructors for both customer and internal training within the category Drilling.  

As an NOV instructor you will be part of an international technical environment serving customers worldwide. Our main activities are conducted in our facilities located at Forus Stavanger and Buråsen Kristiansand, which includes 3 dome simulators and other hands-on equipment. We also provide Training offshore, on -site and on other NOV Training centers abroad.  

You will teach course participants with different backgrounds and nationalities. As an Instructor in NOV you will be exposed to many of NOV’s new products and be able to stay updated on the newest technology. There will be possibilities for competence building by participating in project work, courses, field work and service jobs.  

Main tasks will be:

• Train rig crew in operation of NOV Cyberbase drilling equipment and automation systems
• Optimize operation of NOV drilling systems
• Assess rig crew and provide one to one guidance during operation
• Develop training material and reports of conducted services
• Develop personal knowledge and skills on new NOV products and automation systems

Offshore travel must be anticipated.  

Qualifications:

• Relevant background as Driller or Assistant Driller from offshore drilling units
• Good communication skills in English
