Senior NDT Inspector, Rig Inspection Services

Odfjell Drilling Technology, Rig Inspection Services has dedicated and QHSE-oriented resources serving the following areas:

• NDT and Inspection of lifting equipment
• Rope Access Technicians (RAT), NDT Drilling Annuals & 5 YR Class
• Specialist Lifting & Rigging (Derrick & Moonpool)
• Offshore Construction Management

This is an onshore position based in Stavanger. This position will report to the RIS Manager Norway and will be a part of the ODT, RIS Norway. This position will be responsible for our NDT activities at Odfjell Well Service`s site in Stavanger.

Qualifications:

• NS-2 and/or DS-1 knowledge and understanding
• Level 2 NDT certificates according to ISO 9712
• Good technical understanding and ability to acquire knowledge of new subject areas
• Experience with inspection of drilling equipment
• Good oral and written skills in both Norwegian and English
• Minimum 5 years experience with inspection of drilling equipment.

Key tasks:

• Be responsible for our inspectors and inspections at OWS site
• Be contact person for customers
• Perform inspections
• Assist the costumer and manager in daily operations
• Participate in planning meetings, internal and towards customers
• Participate in continuous improvement work within the discipline
