DevOps engineer for Core Renewal

The solutions in the Core Renewal project are based on Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), independent building blocks and flexile integration layers and API that enables re-usability and reduces complexity. We use modern technology’s and tools like Java, Maven, Docker, Jenkins etc

We are looking for a senior DevOps engineer for an in-house position, that can help us take the next step in our Automation, Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment strategy and implementation (on-premise and private cloud). We are aiming for improvements of deployment frequency, lower failure rates of new releases and achieve faster time to market.

Description of tasks

• Monitor builds and deploy
• Hands on fixing builds and deploy issues
• Suggest and implement improvements in the Pipeline
• Participate in Automation/testing strategy work
• Participate in architecture analysis and decisions
• Research for new tools, methods and platforms
  
  

Qualifications and work experience

• Background as a developer with an intertest in deployment/operations or background within application operation with a big interest in coding/scripting
• Knowledge in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Hudson etc)
• Knowledge of distributed systems fundamentals
• Experience with monitoring, logging systems, deployment and operation
• Programming skills and knowledge of container solutions (Docker Services)
