What You'll Do

Cisco Norway is a world leader in developing collaboration and video conferencing technology and our DevOps/Software Reliability Engineering team stands in the middle of a cross-disciplinary software and hardware development. Everyday activities include:

• Troubleshooting of Linux-based VMs
• Designing and implementing high-availability services running in multi-site data centers
• Improving reliability and automating every part of the infrastructure: from VM provisioning and configuration to service deployment, monitoring, logging, and continuous integration pipeline
• Working with other teams to understand their needs and design services that would both improve their workflow as well as comply with reliability and security requirements
• Collaborating and contributing to upstream opensource projects by fixing bugs in applications, tools, and services we are using

Who You'll Work With

Imagine being a part of a team of software developers, but instead of developing an application you would build a core infrastructure used by diverse teams which are working on anything from hardware, FPGA, and embedded development to QA, machine learning, and web applications.
