Team Leader Supply Chain

TCO Group is a provider of products and services to the global oilfield services industry. The company serves the upstream oil and natural gas industry throughout the reservoir life cycle. We count 90 skilled employees, located at our offices around the world.  

TCO has an open position as Team Leader Supply Chain. The position will be located at the TCO facility in Arna, Bergen.  

Responsibilities and authority

The Team Leader Supply Chain reports to VP Manufacturing.

The Team Leader Supply Chain is responsible for sourcing suppliers, purchasing and following up deliveries.

Ensure high-level knowledge of relevant sections of ERP (RamBase).

Procurement authority is as laid out in AGP-ADM-015 Authority Matrix TCO.

Main tasks

Tasks will normally consist of, but not be limited to:

• Personnel management for all employees in Supply Chain team
• Develop supplier KPIs and monitor suppliers’ performance relative to these
• Source new or alternative suppliers as necessary to ensure a portfolio of best-in-class suppliers
• Develop and maintain frame agreements with key suppliers. This may include suppliers’ buffer stock and item/package prices
• Purchase for the Manufacturing, Engineering, and Indre Arna Administration according to agreements. This may include:
• Request and negotiate prices
• Approving orders
• Follow up deliveries, including control of invoice relative to PO
• Check stockholdings, liaise with team and Production Planner to establish min/max levels where appropriate
• Administration of department archive
• Undertake Quality and HSE activities, ref Input Process etc.

Requirements for competences

• Engineer with min. 5 years’ relevant experience. Relevant experience and competence can compensate for a lack of formal qualifications
• Operative experience with Rambase related to procurement is preferred
• Systematic, independent and precise
• Initiative, the ability to see things through and to work with others
• Good verbal and written formulation in Norwegian and English
