- Perform general structural analysis, typical as a part of a project team.
- Prepare reports/documentation for DNV (3rd party/customers/internal use)
- Ability to perform “hand calculations”
- Ability to use Staad or similar for simple structures
- FEM analysis
- Provide solutions to a variety of technical problems
- Cooperate and advise the Design Engineers in the projectteam for optimal design solutions
Qualifications
- Newly educated applicants will also be considered
- Good understanding and wide application of technical theories and concepts of structural and/ or machineries.
- Good oral and written communication skills in both English and Norwegian.
- Knowledge and application of technical standards, principles and theories for structural analysis involving static and dynamic loads, stress analyses, dynamic response and fatigue life predictions.
- Minimum B.Sc. in mechanical or civil engineering
