TechnipFMC Graduate Program is a one year onboarding program. You will be assigned a personal mentor, and included in the Graduate family where you can share knowledge, information and experiences.

During the program you will be provided with a lot of relevant training and development opportunities, and also closely followed up and supported by your mentor and manager through monthly meetings.

Introduction to the Job

At the Digital Services and Innovation Center (DSI) we aim to accelerate TechnipFMC's digital transformation. We do this by infusing design thinking, agile methodologies and lean principles in our delivery. Through balanced teams (squads), often comprised of Product Manager, Digital Product Designer(s), Software Developer(s) and Data Scientist(s), we unwrap complexity, target real user needs and deliver scalable services.

Job description
As a Digital Product Designer (UX/UI Design/Service Design/Interaction Design) you fulfill an important role within the agile development team, translating conceptual ideas into beautiful and functional designs by incorporating design thinking in the process - from early inception, deployment and beyond!

Relevant tasks for the position:

• Plan and conduct research of complex issues to break them down into tangible solution spaces and user stories
• Process research material, evaluate insights and translate them into digital products and services that will address problems and user needs
• Represent our end-user and understand their core customer need or problem
• Constantly reiterate on the product based on heuristic evaluation, user feedback and testing
• Ensure that our delivery is visually appealing, intuitive and useful
• Produce material such as personas, customer journeys, low- and hi-fidelity wireframes etc.

The position is based at our office in Kongsberg. You are reporting operationally to the Digital Product Managerand reportingfunctionallyto the DSI Operations Manager.

You are meant for this job if you

• Love addressing complexity with seemingly simple solutions
• Can apply user-centric design to all deliverables by using design thinking methodologies
• Possess knowledge of fundamental UX techniques such as user testing, wireframing, prototyping, interaction design, information architecture and more
• Can understand and document user insight, translating it into new ideas for product, or service, improvements and create innovative solutions to solve user pain points
• Are familiar with design tools like Sketch, Creative Cloud, InVision etc.
• Are curious of new technology and methodology
• Have a relevant degree within technology or design
• Pay meticulous attention to detail while not losing sight of the larger mission
• Deep knowledge of responsive design and native mobile apps
