Head Energy is glad to offer the following contract position as Insulation Field Engineer

Task and responsibilities:

• Field engineer Piping Insulation shall ensure that insulation activities for piping are planned, qualified, performed and documented in accordance with the project specifications.
• Typical tasks:
• Monitoring of Contractors piping insulation with emphasis on HSE and quality
• Supervise Piping Insulation inspector(s) in site team
• Participate during MC Punch-out and follow-up clearing of Punch-items.
• Participate in inspection activities per Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) as required.
• Plan/ participate in audits/verifications as required
• Ensure MC complete for handover to commission and punch listing
• Ensure that contractors’ personnel are qualified in accordance with contract requirements.
• Report deviations and highlight concerns and problem areas to Construction supervisor
• Continuous focus on identifying and handling Risks
• Establish a good and constructive relationship towards Contractor and with other disciplines in Statoil
• All work follows NORSOK R-004

Competence requirements:

• Frosio Certificate Insulation.
• Minimum 5-year experience from similar position in previous projects.
• Multi trade competence is an advantage, e.g. surface protection, architect.
• A strong team player with ability to handle high work load.
• Possible extension during in-shore Hook-up until 31.12.2021
