JOYMO is a distributor and broadcaster of sports at all levels, with international ambitions for our technology platform.
The position as Full-Stack Developer is a central and an important position in the dev team. The position is central in making the JOYMO platform a complete system for livestreaming of sports, accessible to sports clubs and organizations at all levels.
We’re looking for a node.js and web full-stack developer to build services for our products & tools. We are focused on automated video production and distribution and working to expand our platforms and distribution.
Responsibilities:
Design and develop new scalable and versatile services and APIs.
Use agile methodologies and workflows to iterate on products.
Work closely with product, design and engineering leadership to solve business problems.
Qualifications:
3+ years of professional software development experience.
Experienced in node.js/TypeScript..
Preferably worked with micro-services and familiar with its principles and practices.
Flexible with different frameworks and workflows, with a willingness to learn new technologies.
Comfortable and experienced in Git workflows.
Comfortable with AWS services.
A good understanding of web application scalability/performance issues and experienced in the use of asynchronous
processing and other mitigation practices is also a plus.

Based at Grünerløkka in the center of Oslo, JOYMO has built a seamless broadcasting platform changing the way grassroots and youth
sports are able to broadcast to their audience.
** We are what Twitch.tv is for e-sports, but to youth sports!**
JOYMO’s cloud platform enables any sports teams to stream all their games to all their fans, and to generate income from
streaming their games. With our fully automated, unmanned camera, our users can wirelessly record, upload, store, share, live
stream and analyze their games - everything is easily accessible through the unmanned video recording unit that automatically zooms
in where the game is focused at the moment. The two biggest youth soccer tournaments in the world used our tecnical platform to stream
games this summer.
Today we are a team of 15 people and growing.
