As Mechanical Engineer you will design systems, products, and procedures that prevent fire damage. Your job is to research causes of fires and decide on the best fire protection system and equipment. In addition you will be trained as Mechanical Engineer for paint process and Mechanical equipment. Working conditions varies from engineering in office, supervise consultants, perform inspections and provide on-site consultations. You will be part of a team of specialist engineers representing the various disciplines required to design and supervise construction of factories and other company assets
Duties and responsibilities
- Mechanical engineering for fire protection and paint manufacturing
- Develop concepts for new investments based on our standard solutions and concepts
- Specifications based on recognized international codes and standards
- Continuous development of more efficient standards and concepts
- Compliance with legislation
- Review design and tender packages for investments to ensure right quality
- Consultant and contractor selection and follow up
- Global supplier selection and follow up
- Work closely with other group functions, regions and locations
- Some travelling must be expected, approximately 30-60 days per year
Qualifications
- Bachelor or Master`s Degree in Engineering
- 2-5 years of experience
- Graduates with a strong desire to develop in an international environment may also apply
