On behalf of a supplier of technology for plugging, lost circulation, leakage stops and sand consolidation in oil and gas wells, we seek a skilled and experieced SCM

The Supply Chain Manager oversees all relevant steps regarding to the process of supply chain and procurement. The Manager will take a proactive approach in reviewing current systems and procedures, making recommendations and implementing changes. The position will oversee negotiations with suppliers for contracts, terms and price. Will be responsible for material planning. This is a 3 month temporary position, with possibility for permanent. 


Primary responsibilities

  • Overall responsibility for supply chain globally, including material logistics/transportation
  • Responsible for the supply chain process and making sure that purchasing requirements are covered
  • Sourcing new suppliers
  • Follow up suppliers and deliveries
  • Supplier negotiations and establishment of supplier contracts
  • Identify storage facility needs and identify warehousing alternatives
  • Plan and develop systems and procedures to improve the supply chain
  • Supervise relevant staff in accordance with company policies and procedures
  • Establish employee goals and conduct employee performance reviews
  • Support global company operation in planning for logistic in conjunction with mobilization and demobilization
  • Support global company operation with information required for invoicing after jobs
  • Identify and implement cost-saving measures related to supply chain
  • Other duties as assigned

Knowlegde and skill requirements

  • Dependability - Being reliable, responsible, dependable and fulfilling obligations
  • Attention to Detail - Being careful about detail and thorough in completing work tasks 
  • Good written and verbal communications
  • Experience within procurement/logistics area and preferably with higher financial/administrative education
  • Strong financial understanding
  • Good knowledge of handling dangerous goods and recognized packing course and ADR/IMDG course
  • Problem solver with ability to find practical solutions
  • Having good communication skills and being proactive
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule
