Data Scientist in Visma IT & Communications

About the job

Visma IT & Communications is looking for a candidate who understands that the future is data-driven.

You will work in an international team consisting of both data scientists and business process analysts that combine machine learning, business process modeling and robotic process automation to automate manual processes

You will lead the design and development of complex and time intensive customer projects. Through this role, you will be expected to deliver robust and innovative solutions that will bring value to our customers.

The architectural, security, operation and platform teams in Visma IT & Communications will support you within their respective fields, and help you create excellent services that are enterprise grade and follow the ITIL 4 Framework and ISO 9000, 20001, 27001 and 27018 regulations.

The workplace is Skøyen, Oslo

Your professional skills:

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in computer science, preferably within the following fields:

• • Machine learning

  • Development

  • Statistics

  • Optimization

• 1-2 years of experience in development of services utilizing mentioned fields

• Good knowledge of libraries like SciKit Learn, TensorFlow or Spark MLLib

• Good programming skills, preferably in Python

• Insight in ITIL, ISO, security or other relevant process sets

• Good written and verbal English skills

• Efficient and structured

• Negotiation capabilities and problem-solving mindset

• Highly effective written and verbal communication skills.

Tasks:

• Work closely with business process analysts and customers in projects that aim to automate manual processes

• Combine the role as project participant with active research within the AI field

• Design, develop, document and deploy solutions for demanding and highly competent customers

• Contribute to overall service development in Visma IT & Communications
