Solutions Architect for Commercial industry - location Oslo

We are looking for a new member to our team in SAS Norway for the role as a Pre-Sales Architect towards our Commercial clients. You will design and promote innovative solutions that meet client needs, based on our market leading product portfolio. You will combine skills across data, analytics and technology with a consulting mindset, domain best practice and excellent communication. Working in a highly customer facing capacity you will build trusted relationships with customers, partners and prospects, helping them understand how SAS will add value to their organisation through the application of analytics.

Your task is to

• Act as Technical Lead in sales activities, leading teams of product/solution experts in designing and documenting solutions, providing excellent written responses to RFI/RFPs, may lead PoC projects

• Translate client business needs to value-generating solutions based on SAS products and services, while adhering to client IT standards and integrating into existing IT landscape

• Cooperate with sales teams in solution sales activities to maximize revenue opportunities and ensure the highest levels of long-term customer satisfaction.

• Communicate and present SAS capabilities and solutions to clients, including roadmaps and strategic direction

• Promote use of other SAS technology, solutions and resources (consulting, technical support, training, conferences) available to ensure optimal use and customer satisfaction

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Strong experience from Commercial industries such as telecom, manufacturing, retail or other industries

• Strong experience in Solution Architecture, Data Management and Cloud solutions

• Strong experience in SAS technology or Analytics and Modelling in general

• Clear understanding of sales strategies and sales processes.

• Excellent oral and written presentation and communications skills in English and in Norwegian

• Ability to travel as business requirements dictate, normally ca 25%.
