Marketing Manager wanted for world leader in cardiovascular ultrasound
Role Summary:
Central contributor in defining business strategy and NPIs. Responsible for gathering of market data, and providing market data analysis. Lead the positioning, go to market messaging and market material development for NPIs. Build the Vivid brand. Drive the global messaging and communication for our CVUS solutions.
Essential Responsibilities:
In association with the General Manager and his staff, develop business roadmap, short, mid and long term. Directly responsible for the Marketing part of roadmap, for definition and execution
Defines brand, value propositions, and competitive positioning claims with product management. Develop and execute on communication plan in support of the marketing objective
Ensures alignment of marketing plans with both Product Management, Commercial Manager and Region teams
Do market segmentation, market share analysis, competitive analysis, industry trends.
Budget responsibility for central marketing, work with Commercial Manager and regions for regional marketing investments. Work with Clinical Manager and Commercial Manager to plan and budget for evidence generation to support NPIs and installed base products
With Product management, develop inputs to support business case for NPI (incl. target pricing) and product positioning
Qualifications/Requirements:
MBA or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field
10+ years’ experience in commercial marketing, sales, product marketing or related field
Leadership skills to lead and/or influence commercial/marketing teams and shape/lead growth vision and marketing strategy
Excellent oral and written communications skills
Strong analytical and process skills
Desired Characteristics:
Direct experience in the cardiac ultrasound segment and/or prior healthcare industry expertise
Deep marketing expertise in market & customer insights, product commercialization and branding. Experience managing a global brand
Team oriented – ability to motivate and work well with diverse, global and cross-functional teams
