Software developer – 3D visualization – Cloud/Web

Ceetron delivers software for technical and scientific visualization on most relevant platforms and form factors, from desktop (Windows, Linux, and Mac) and cloud/web to pads and smartphones (iOS and Android). We use modern programming languages, tools, and methodology in the development of our products, both for cloud/web and desktop.

Due to increased activity level and a need to strengthen our capabilities within web and cloud, we are now looking to recruit a talented software engineer for our development team.

Successful candidates should have a solid background in several of the following areas:

·       Development of web-based applications in TypeScript / JavaScript

·       UI development in Angular

·       Node.js and C++ addons

·       Microsoft Azure, Amazon AWS, Google Cloud Platform

·       Python

·       C++, C# / .NET, Java

·       WebGL / WebXR / OpenGL

We are looking for candidates with an M.Sc. degree from a recognized university and relevant specialization. Candidates should possess personal drive and be capable of working independently as well as in teams. It is desirable with a minimum of three years of relevant work experience, though newly graduated candidates with good academic credentials will be considered.

Good communication skills, in English and Norwegian, are a requirement. Place of work will be Tønsberg, Norway.
