1620 - IT/Cyber Security Engineer, Hammerfest

For our customer ABB we are looking for an IT/Cyber Security Engineer in Hammerfest

Description: 
As an IT/Cyber Security engineer you will work with IT and cyber security related topics in the systems and services that we provide to our customers. You will be working closely with our customer in their daily operations with the support from both the ABB cyber security team in Bergen and the local ABB engineering team in Hammerfest. Central technology topics are cyber security, virtualization technology and industrial network technologies. Training in unfamiliar topics will be provided. 

Tasks: 
• Operation and maintenance of customer systems as: 
- Traditional and virtualized control systems 
- Antivirus, MS-security updates, backup/restore, user access management 
- Industrial network components like firewalls and switches 
• Investigate and respond to IT and Cyber Security incidents 
• Coordinate multiple tasks 
• Use and improve good practices for above mentioned topics 

Requirements: 
We are looking for individuals who can work independently and live out our business principles: Responsibility, Respect and Determination. 

We are looking for the following qualifications: 
• Engineering degree (B.Sc/M.Sc). within the areas of information security, computer science, cybernetics or electrical engineering or other combined with cyber/information security 
• 5+ years’ experience with IT/cyber Security service or operations within: 
- Patch management systems, backup/recovery solutions, anti-virus and Intrusion Detection Systems 
- Communication protocols and network technologies like firewalls and switches. Cisco certifications is an advantage 
- Windows client and server technology setup and maintenance. Microsoft certification is an advantage 
• Fluent in English and norwegian, written and spoken
