QEHS Supervisor

Wärtsilä Gas Solutions is a global business line within the Marine Solutions division. The business has people located in many locations such as Norway, Poland, UK, France, Finland and China. The business unit has end-to-end responsibility from Sales through to commissioning of completed systems. 

Wartsila Gas Solutions offer systems and solutions related a number of oil & gas segments. The scope includes marine LNG and LPG cargo systems, fuel gas systems for marine vessels, biogas systems and tank control systems.

We are looking for a Senior OEHS Supervisor.

The QEHS Supervisors will be responsible for QEHS activities within a project delivery environment, in addition to supporting the QEHS management system administration at Wärtsilä Gas Solutions (9001, 14001 and 18001 / 45001 certified).

Responsibilities:
Project related QEHS activities (not limited to):
• Log follow up / processes and close-out of project related Non Conformances and EHS incidents
• Root Cause Analysis of project related Non-Conformances and EHS incidents
• Analyze quality cost within Product Line
• Facilitate risk & opportunity sessions
• Facilitate Lessons learnt sessions
• Coordinate supplier development with Supply Management Organisation
• Maintain overview and follow up ITP programme
• Support to project members to ensure way of working in accordance with Business Process Model
• Prepare and maintain project QEHS documentation as required by customer
• Ensure sufficient EHS knowledge and training within project
• Input to QEHS management systems: Business Process Model, Risk Management, Lessons Learnt, Management Review, etc

Qualifications:
• A sound understanding of the commercial impact of Quality and EHS decisions on projects and operations
• Skilled at identifying project critical success factors and adopting appropriate risk management practices
• Broad understanding of Quality and EHS principles and ability to oversee their implementation in a project environment
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, including PowerBI
• Experience from similar position within engineering / technology industry (for the senior position, min 10 years)
• Certified Quality Auditor
• Preferably certified E, H&S auditor •Ability to work in cross functional teams
• Excellent communication skills
