Aker Solutions’ division based in Stavanger is now offering the opportunity of becoming a graduate Electrical Engineer starting august 2020.

Aker Solutions' Electrical group within the department Instrument, SAS, Electrical and Telecom based in Stavanger Norway consists of 40 highly qualified electrical engineers. We contribute in all phases of the projects, from front end studies to detail design and fabrication support.

Responsibilities:

The engineers works in various small and large projects, and this gives each employee several career opportunities. The work is in close cooperation with clients, other engineering disciplines, vendors and fabrication sites.

• Participate in the engineering of Front End,- Conceptual- and FEED Studies, M&M Projects in addition to major Modification- and Decommissioning Projects
• Engineering and follow-up of instrument design in multidiscipline project
• Verify the design, by analysis and calculations
• Ensure that the installation is in accordance to design and specifications
• Technical responsible for instrument equipment including technical follow-up of equipment suppliers
• Travel in shorter periods both offshore and to suppliers
• Contribute to the development of methodology, tools and competency within the Electrical Department

• Bachelor- or Master's degree within Electrical/Automation Engineering or similar
• Good communication skills in a Scandinavian language and English, both written and spoken
• Ability to work independently on assigned task, and have good team-relationships
