Pipe Support Designer and Checker - Asker

For one of our clients, we are are looking for a Pipe Support Designer / Checker - Senior Engineer

Location: Asker
Duration: ASAP - 30.04.2020

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform pipe support checking, both drawing draft and calculation checks by use of STAAD II
• Have a cooperative working attitude and work close with both pipe stress engineers and piping designers
• Be systematic, accurate and perform pipe support checking according to JS P2 project routines
• Design shall be in accordance with NorSok knowledge, including loyalty to project organisation, deadlines and quality requirements

 Required Qualifications:

• Have multidiscipline knowledge and act proactive, seeking/advice/share experience in design processes
• Layout and design based on NorSok knowledge and have loyalty to organisation, deadlines and quality requirements
• Some offshore experience and fabrication experience preferred
• Cooperative working attitude and acceptance for multicultural working teams

 Required Education:

• Bachelor degree or similar

 Required Work Experience:

• Min 8 - 15 years EPC new build experience
