Orkla IT is now seeking an Solution Architect / Functional Specialist Demand Planning
Due to increasing demand from the Orkla Business Units, Orkla IT wants to strengthen its organization within the Demand Planning area. This typically covers areas as S&OP, Statistical Forecasting, Promotion Planning, and Phase In / Phase Out.
We are looking for a Solution Architect / Functional Specialist, with experience in the field of Demand Planning, and related IT solutions. You will be working on implementation projects, in consulting roles towards the Business / Planning community, and within application management.
Orkla IT can offer you an exiting workplace, with many high skilled collegues, on central locations in Oslo (near Skøyen station), or Malmø (harbor area, not far from the central station).
Key responsibility
- Solution architect / functional specialist role in IT implementation projects for new solutions within S&OP and Demand Planning / Forecasting.
- Conduct business consulting towards Orkla stakeholders within the planning domain. Support the business in the use of statistical forecasting methods.
- Governing the support and development of Orkla´s installed base of IT-solutions for planning, in interaction with business users and external IT partners.
Qualifications
- University level degree (or similar) minimum 3 years, preferably 5 years.
- IT and/ or Business / Supply Chain / Statistics
The ideal candidate has the following experience / skills
- Business knowledge of Planning processes (S&OP, Demand Planning/Forecasting, statistical methods) and the supply chain in general.
- Hands-on and design experience from planning tools from SAP (APO, IBP, S/4HANA) and/or other vendors such as Optimity or ToolsGroup (SO99+).
- Used to evaluation and transition of business requirements into IT systems.Experience from working with external partners and governing IT system solutions and processes.
- Industry insights within “fast-moving consumer goods”.
Less experienced candidates with a strong theoretical background (Statistics / Forecasting / Planning / Supply Chain & IT) are also advised to apply.
