Industrial IT Engineer

The IT function is growing and need a new member within the Industrial IT team. The successful candidate will work closely with our development projects in designing and implementing the industrial IT solutions of our fields of tomorrow.

• Responsible for industrial IT systems operational status  
• Responsible for data exchange to and from external partners e.g. contractors and other oil and gas companies  
• Responsible for data capture and storage from Industrial IT systems  
• Responsible for Operated assets data hub  
• Gives input on operational requirements to IT projects and to major projects  
• Monitors and approves updates and patching of industrial IT systems      
  

• Relevant higher university degree. In special cases, relevant work experience may compensate for limited formal education  
• Minimum 5 years relevant experience     
• Requires deep knowledge of the specialist area, the E&P business and Oil & Gas industry  
• The job is expected to work independently with no supervision of work and is responsible for the quality of delivered products  
• The job needs to take into account information outside own work and integrate it in own area of responsibility  
• It is expected to provide comments and observations based on analysis of data/ information  
• The job requires an understanding of policies and procedures  
• Language: English and Norwegian is required
