We are looking for talented Software Engineer for our Drilling Fluid Control System department. Our group deliver both complete process control systems, tying inn a large range of equipment into one complete solution for the customer, and control systems for other equipment like Choke & Kill and Rheology measurement solutions. As a Software Engineer you will be programming our programming our PLC and HMI systems, work closely with other software products ensuring that the systems work together, participate in testing and contribute to development of the systems. You will be working with all technical disciplines, across multiple departments, and the position requires you to have a good ability to understand systems and how they interact.

Main role and responsibilities:

• Software development of Siemens PLC based Process Control systems
• Design of HMI systems
• Quality control and testing of deliveries
• Prepare technical documentation (Functional Description, Test Procedures, etc.)
• Support during installation, commissioning and start-up phase

The work will mainly be onshore in Asker, but some travel might be expected, both on- and offshore in Norway and abroad, dependent on department needs.

We are looking for applicants who like to work in an open, collaborative environment, and that:

• Have a bachelor or master’s within a relevant subject, like Automation, Cybernetics, etc.
• Enjoy solving challenges and understanding how systems work together
• Are good at communicating, both in Norwegian and English
