MHWirth seeks a skilled and experienced Infrastructure Engineer with knowledge within IT/OT and audio visual solutions who will be stationed at their Stavanger, Norway office. This person will participate in a team of competent colleagues with responsibilities for design, installation, maintenance and day-to-day operations of our global simulator infrastructure solutions.
Responsibilities and tasks
- Daily maintenance, operations and surveillance of internal and external simulator systems
- Plan and execute improvements that contribute to efficient, safe and stable operations
- Create plans, deliver and set up/install simulator control systems and AV solutions
- Give professional advice and support to internal and external personnel
- Adhere to MHWirth’s vision, values, strategies, policies, standards and procedures
Position location: Stavanger, Norway
- The position will require international travel, to some extent
Qualifications & personal attributes
- Relevant education and/or experience within operation of Windows server environments
- Experience from IT/OT infrastructure operations
- Experience from Vmware and other virtualization solutions
- Experience within Cisco network, ASA and Checkpoint systems
- Fluent in written and spoken Norwegian and English
- Flexible and motivated by working towards continuous improvement
- Strong cooperation skills and team-oriented with the ability to work independent, as needed
