Purchaser/Purchase

We are looking for a highly motivated person who will play an important part of our project team. The purchaser will be responsible for the procurement process in the projects and lead the company’s efforts in selecting and negotiating with suppliers across all product areas. The person must be structured and solution oriented and able to work across borders in an international team.

Tasks:

·        Selection and follow up of suppliers and sub-contractors.

·        Close cooperation with the Project Management to secure correct equipment purchases with transparent planning/follow-up of milestones, cost status and logistics

·        Follow-up and improvement of the purchase process to secure cost effectiveness

·        Maintain the purchase process in the project

·        Prepare tender documents and evaluate offers

·        Maintain and improve the ERP system

Qualifications-skills:

·        Bachelor degree within technical and/or commercial area.

·        Basic Procurement and Contractual skills including supplier selection and negotiations.

·        Experience from technical purchase in the marine/oil/gas industry is an advantage

·        Experience with implementation and use of ERP system.

·        Fluency in Norwegian and English, both written and spoken

·        Good communication skills

·        Self-driven pro-active and flexible with an eye for quality

·        Experience with international suppliers and logistical challenges is an advantage
