Commercial Manager

Now we are searching a Commercial Manager to our office in Sandefjord.

Responsibilities:

• Provide Commercial and Contractual support to the Project Manager and Project Delivery Team, ensuring the Project operates in accordance with both a) the Contract and b) Wood policies and procedures
• Ensure that risk and opportunity management is applied in a manner that maximises Wood’s return
• Establish and maintain robust controls in relation to Change Management
• Ensure the preparation and submission of variation and contract amendment requests is undertaken in accordance with contract requirements
• Ensure that any necessary contractual notices are served in accordance with the terms of the contract
• Provide Support on all commercial issues within the Project, including resolving contractual issues with the client and suppliers (with necessary support from functions)
• Complete monthly Project Commercial reviews and produce Commercial reports
• Ensure timely collection of cash
• Ensure full compliance with Wood commercial procedures, reporting and corporate governance requirements
• Lead role in resolving commercial issues

Work tasks:

• Cash collection
• Manage the return
• Contract Administration
• Negotiations with Clients and suppliers
• Prepare VO/VOR’s
• Ensure the quality, establishment and updating of the commercial requirements
• Participate in project planning and lead risk management
• Participate in weekly meetings
• Look at project trends and analyses, and suggest / lead implementation of corrective actions
• Manage KPI performance
• Ensure that project management systems are designed for the project and function in a satisfactory manner
• Communicate management information to all parts of the organization and collect feedback
• Make sure that management information for the monthly and weekly reports are available at the right time

Qualifications:

• Educational requirements: Minimum 3 years of education from college or university
• Experience requirements: Minimum 10 years of relevant experience and good understanding and overview of all tasks to be performed in commercial management
• Language requirements: Must be fluent in both Norwegian and English
