Tanker Scheduler
We are currently looking for a Tanker Scheduler.
This is a longterm position and requires significant knowlegde and experience from similar jobs in the Norwegian Oil and Gas Industry
Duration: ASAP - Minimim 1 year or longer*
*The right candidate will be offered a permanent position with us in Toptemp and hired out to our Client.
Functions:
Tanker Scheduling/Lifting
- Responsible to ensure tanker scheduling procedures are carried out in accordance with the relevant Operating Agreements and Terminal Conditions
- Responsible to provide timely and accurate product availability forecasts and other relevant information in accordance with contractual requirements
- Responsible for nomination of all loading voyages with appropriate instructions and documentation advice.
- Responsible for preparing and producing the forward monthly program and entitlements.
- Enshure the Client operation are included and understand all necessary information
- Co-ordinate and implement the scheduling of agreed lifting program.
- Monitor that working stocks are maintained at acceptable levels allowing uninterrupted production and minimizing vessel delay.
- Responsible for all communication and coordination with the ship owners to ensure that all parties are updated and coordinated at all time during the voyage
- Manage, coordinate and control the vessel vetting and clearance process with all involved parties
- Manage and make recommendations on shipping, stock control, and programming matters, with the aim of continually optimizing the operation of the shipping programs
- Ensuring participant compliance with Agreements within the boundaries of scheduling.
- Responsible for all demurrage handling on behalf of Logistics and Assurance in accordance to asset demurrage agreements. Single point of accountability for review and confirmation to all parties.
- To provide scheduling expertise as appropriate in preparing and amending scheduling procedures to be included in new and existing transportation agreements
- Custodian for new implementations and upgrades on tanker scheduling IT system/tools and responsible for execution.
- Responsible for meeting deadlines for external and internal reporting
- Company representative and focal point for all communications between stakeholders and the Assets, providing consultation and advice for tanker scheduling/liftings and costs.
- Focal point for asset operations providing consultation, support and advice for tanker scheduling and cargo document matters.
- Focal point between all parties, finance, legal and commercial for the demurrage validation process.
- Participate and present status report in meetings with partners and vessel owners.
- Attend, advice and support project, subsea, metering activities affecting tanker lifting program
- Close corporation with Reservoir, Hydrocarbon Allocation, Production Programming and IAP planners.
- Single point of contact to The Companys trading, Commercial, Transport Providers, License Partners and other stakeholders regarding the tanker scheduling services.
Requirements
- Experience from Tanker scheduling
- Exposure to agreements, shipping, finance, commercial, activity planning.
- Able to work in a structured way, find creative solutions to problems and continuously searches for improvements.
- Able to consistently deliver according to plans and follow procedures.
- Alert to change and able to react quickly to solve problems.
