We are now looking for a strategic and operational Chief Financial Officer to join our team.

THE POSITION AND THE OPPORTUNITY

Xait is an international software technology company with headquarters in Stavanger, Norway, as well as operations in Texas, US. The company’s main product is XaitPorter – a document collaboration and production tool for producing complex documents such as tenders, proposals and reports. This bench-mark solution is used by major corporations around the world.

Xait is backed by Viking Venture, the leading Nordic B2B software investor and we are now seeking a talented and qualified individual to join our management team in Stavanger as Chief Financial Officer. Our new CFO will be a key person to expand our business, both by organic growth and by acquisitions.

Daily tasks and responsibilities include:

• Participate in the development of the company’s plans and programs with a strategic view and use of financial data/ metrics in decision making
• Provide timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial reports, projections and financial trends in order to assist CEO, owners and board
• Evaluate investment strategies by considering cash and liquidity risks
• Continuously focus on improvement of the overall operation and effectiveness of the company

To be successful in the role, you will need a proven track record of being an inspiring leader, a good cross-functional collaborator, an outstanding communicator, and a nimble, innovative, and strategic thinker. You will have the ability to understand Xaits long-term strategies and translate them into actionable, motivating, and measurable goals. It’s important that you have the ability to see both the big picture and manage the delivery and closing of detailed projects.
