Business Controller

We are looking for a Business Unit Controller with business acumen for our largest business unit (BU) in the Nammo Group. The multinational business unit has activities in several locations in Europe and the US. The Business Controller is a member of the BU management team and cooperate closely with the Group finance team. 

Main tasks:

• The Business Controller is responsible for maintaining and developing all controlling processes to excellence in the BU and support group efforts in the finance area
• Financial leadership in BU management; Plan and follow-up of operational, tactical and strategic activities, such as short and long-term strategic plans, budgeting and forecasting
• Support EVP on organizing and conducting biannual risk-based site reviews at BU locations and prepare business review presentations to group management
• Proactively gain understanding of the industry and the business, and identify and follow up key performance indicators
• Support on developing business cases on future M&A activities, investments and R&D activities and present these to corporate management
• Secure good quality, efficient and timely deliveries of financial budgeting, forecasting, reporting and risk management. Ensure identification of financial related risks timely to be able to put in place necessary mitigating actions.
• Support local controllers and management on financial matters

Education and experience:  

• Finance related MSc/MBA
• 5 - 10 years relevant work experience
• Strong competence within finance related subjects
• You have a high capacity in English, both written and oral.
