Wallenius Wilhelmsen is looking for a diligent, imaginative and future focused person to become our new HR Advisor. As our new HR advisor, you will be part of a HR community where culture, leadership and employee engagement are high on our agenda. The role reports to the VP Corporate Human Resources and is located at Lysaker.  You will, together with VP Corporate Human Resources, have the overall HR responsibility for our 90 employees.

You are an enthusiastic team player, with a strong drive to create a positive working environment. The right person will have the ability to work operatively, as well as, see the bigger picture. You will be able to challenge us on our HR processes and will be active in driving continuous improvement. We are looking for someone who wants to develop further in a central HR role and recognizes how important a professional and active HR function is for enabling the organization to succeed. You are keen to facilitate a good employee journey and have a good digital head.  The right person will be able to influence and form the role.

Tasks:

• Support the organization on general personnel queries and HR administration from A-Z;
• Support VP Corporate Human Resources with manning/resource overview and coordinate and carry out recruitment & hiring processes;
• Compensation and Benefits and HR Administration, providing advice and assistance to leaders and employees on human resources policies, procedures and legislation;
• Take active part in both onboarding and off boarding of Employees;
• Challenge current processes and create new ones, where necessary;
• Take part in HR projects, representing the Lysaker office.

General:

• 2-3 years’ HR experience, where international experience is an advantage;
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with interviewing and cooperation abilities;
• Good organizational and administrative skills;
• Ability to prioritize and control own workload;
• Experience from a global HRIS system;
• Understanding of culture and change management;
• Certification in an accredited personality/aptitude testing tool;
• Experience from HR transformation projects is an advantage;
• Fluent in both English and Norwegian languages.

Education/Qualifications:

• Bachelor or master’s degree within HR and business.
