National Head Trainer, BASF Coatings Refinish Norway

What you can expect:
In this role, you will have an opportunity to impact and develop the delivery of best in
class. Internal and external training in the Refinish Competence Center, in order to
constantly strive to exceed customer expectations by following the “One-Voice-Policy”
philosophy and agreed procedures. You will same time support our District Mangers and the technical team in Norway with excellent technical expertise regarding products and processes. You will be a part of a strong dedicated and competent Nordics and global team with great knowledge and high skills.
What we expect:
As a National Head Trainer, you need to have highly technical expertise within the paint / refinish area supported by relevant education and a minimum of 10 years’ experience within the automotive industry. We expect you to have good ability to plan and coordinate a variety of activities in cooperation with various internal and external stakeholders and to deliver
best in class training to our customers and business partners.
As a person, you are structured and a good communicator. A good sense and ability to
work with different personalities combined with ability to teach and relay information to
others are key for this role.
Responsibilities/tasks
- Solution finder with an entrepreneurial spirit
- Responsibility for further developing, create a great academic environment and ensure skills development for our customers/partners.
- Lead and drive the education of our customers and partners.
- Plan, coordinate and participate in trainings at our RCC in Gothenburg
- Onboarding of new techincal employees
- Be a mentor for the technical team, including developing and internal training.
- Create added value to customers
- Take an overseeing role for technical team
- Cooperate with sales team in projects to maximize revenue
- High professional standard, accuracy and integrity
- High Technical depth understanding
- Self-motivated, able to work independently as well in teams
- Good interpersonal / communication and social skills
- Fluent Norwegian and good English skills (both spoken and written)
- Technically strong in own discipline and highly motivated individual with good interpersonal, communication, and networking skills
- High general computer skills
- Ability to break down complex issues to its core elements, and evaluate the right process to solve the issue
- Have to be able to travel regularly, mostly in Norway and Sweden
