Senior Architectural Engineer / PRE

Techconsult is the link between jobs and professionals. For one of our customer we are now looking for a Senior Architectural Engineer / PRE

Job responsibilities:

• Design responsible engineer for architectural building elements and equipment.
• Coordinate and complete technical solutions regarding architectural design.
• Ensure that information required to progress the work is identified and communicated to the project.
• Prepare, Follow up and check of documents and drawings according to Master document list.
• Coordinate with other disciplines supporting architectural elements.
• Package responsible engineer for packages for architectural building elements and equipment
• Prepare and complete technical requisitions for architectural packages
• Ensure that vendor information required to progress the work are identified and communicated to the project
• Issue requisitions, technical follow up of supplier, delivery and documentation
• Assist in establishing material input to the Engineering Information System database
• Follow up vendors and perform quality check of the supply at the supplier’s premises
• PDMS experience an advantage

Your qualifications:

• Bachelor, Master or equivalent education
• Minimum 7 years work experience within oil & gas and offshore wind
• Experience from architectural offshore design (minimum 5 years required)
• The candidate must have deep knowledge to Norwegian offshore industry incl. the DNVGL and Eurocode regulations related to the architectural discipline.
• Experience from large new build EPC topside projects on the Norwegian Continental Shelf
• Experience with DNVGL spec regime.
• Experience with government body interface.
• Ability to work independently and thorough as well as ability to work in team
• Multidiscipline understanding
• Good communication skills
• Have a cooperative working attitude
• Have a high loyalty to deadline and quality requirements
• Be proactive, seeking advice and share own experiences with others
• Communicate well in English – both oral and in writing
• Be systematic, accurate and independent
