Norwegian is looking for a Revenue Analyst to join our Revenue Management Department. The department is a part of the commercial division and is responsible for maximizing ticket and ancillary revenue for every flight within Norwegian's route network.

For your given set of markets, and for each route, departure date, and specific flight, you will determine the optimal fare to sell at any given moment in time to maximize the flight's revenue. The ideal candidate will have a clear understanding of the relationship between price and volume and supply and demand.

We are looking for someone with excellent analytical, problem-solving, planning and interpersonal skills. You must be a self-starter with a strong ability to execute. You prefer data driven decision making over gut feeling.

Tasks

. Maximize revenue for a given set of markets through development and implementation of revenue management strategies and tactics
. Explain developments and trends for the route area, and implement appropriate measures based on this
. Analyze and monitor the competitive situation
. Conduct detailed market reviews, identifying potential threats and opportunities

Qualifications

. University degree in economics, mathematics, statistics, or general business studies
. A proven interest in airlines, aviation, or transportation systems
. Strong computer literacy
. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
. Great teamwork skills
. Excellent English skills
The position will be based at Norwegian's Head Office in Fornebu and will report to Head of Revenue Optimization.
