Accountability - Main responsibilities and activities

Develop and and implement supply chain strategy for the Project collating the input from key Project Team members and in accordance with Group Supply Chain policy

Coordinate implementation of the Project Supply Plan together with the Project Management, Engineering (and/or other relevant parties), follow up of the budget, cost forecasting and reporting of major deviations

Work with several locations, Norway and Internationally as needed

Ensure RFQs are issued in line with contractual requirements and Rainpower procedures. Liasing with Project Engineering and Project Manager for review of technical clarifications or deviations

Prepare the purchase orders terms & conditions of the awards

Owner of all Project Supply Chain and follow up procurement activities in accordance with defined risk consideration in the Project

Manage the interface with Engineering and ensure coordination between QA/QC and HSE

Liase with Project Controller and Project Manager AOP and commitment on suppliers and subcontracting invoicing

Ensure closing out of contracts and purchase orders with suppliers

Ensure the suppliers assesment and feedback reports are performed in time

Provide a project close out report incorporating lessons learnt and analythical data related to Supply Chain activities

Ensure technical and commercial discussions and negotiations with suppliers and subcontractors take place in a professional and ethical manner, and in accordance with Rainpower CSR guidelines

Contribute to continous improvement efforts within the Supply Chain function in order to reduce overall costs, improve quality, shorten lead time and on-time delivery as well as improvement of routines and tools for the Supply Chain process

Drive HSE compliance among suppliers

Education, Knowledge and Skills

University degree (master or Bachelor level). Relevant industry experience may be substituted
5 years + of relevant experience with a proven track record
Leadership qualities
Organized, analytical, structured and solution oriented
Experience with international supplier contracts- and procurement negotiations
Relevant Hydropower industry knowledge and significant experience
Strong customer and HSE focus
Good communicator and a team player
Fluent in both English and Norwegian languages, written and verbal
