We need a dedicated Business Development Manager to join our team 

Target Intervention AS has recently completed successful field trials of our technology in Saudi Arabia, proving the capabilities for our fully electric CHALLENGER™ Straddle Tool and DISCOVERY™ Well Test Tool. 

Our digital technology will be a game changer for the well intervention industry. Our initial focus is to grow our business in the Middle East and North Sea region, with the ambition of becoming a frontrunner globally for intelligent real-time intervention solutions.

We therefore need a Business Development Manager with passion for new technology, proven track record in sales and the expertise to secure commercial growth and market expansion. The position requires international sales background, extended industry network and deep knowledge of the well intervention/completion and coiled tubing domain. The position will report to CEO and be a key member of management team.

Main responsibilities

Key responsibility is to commercialize Targets technology through active marketing to generate sales leads and new opportunities for Target both in Norway and international markets;

  • Secure commercial growth and maximize revenue potential in existing markets. Main initial focus Middle East and North Sea region
  • Grow Targets reputation globally as a known supplier of digital real-time intervention solutions
  • Build and maintain relations with new and existing customers. Grow customer base
  • Identify and evaluate new applications and commercial opportunities for Targets technology
  • Identify and evaluate new potential markets for growth
  • Identify key strategic partners to maximize opportunities
  • Contribute in contract and pricing negotiations
  • Collect market intelligence and evaluate market trends, technology landscape, pricing and competitors
  • Preparation of quotes and bids
  • Attend and represent company at key events and conferences internationally

Qualifications and experience

  • Extensive operational knowledge of well intervention applications, specifically within coiled tubing operations
  • Existing industry network and experience from sales and marketing, preferably internationally
  • Ability to manage business relationships at all levels
  • Ability to capture and create new sales opportunities and drive sales leads to completion
  • Strong oral and written communication skills. Good presentation skills
  • Demonstrable experience in building and growing business relationships
  • Ability to strategically evaluate market intelligence and new opportunities to best commercial effect
  • Goal-oriented, engaged and self-driven

Target Intervention is a technology company providing new digital solutions within production enhancement and well testing. Targets head office is located in Norway with a current team of 12 employees. Facility include R&D development and full-scale testing capability. An operational base is established in Saudi Arabia to serve the Middle East market.

Target currently have two main products, field proven in North Sea and Saudi Arabia. The Target CHALLENGER for selective acid stimulation and the Target DISCOVERY for well testing. Targets products are fully electric operated downhole tools controlled from surface, conveyed on coiled tubing.

Digital real-time data on downhole well parameters and tool diagnostics is streamed continuously to surface. The Target technology provide a step change in expanding the capabilities, efficiency and reliability of coiled tubing well service operations.
