Job description

• Provide technical support for operation and maintenance of electrical installations
• Maintain technical integrity for electrical systems
• Verify and approve technical solutions
• Contribute to continuously improvement of the electrical systems
• Promote and implement safe, effective and reliable operation
• Participate in relevant networks and technical communities and ensure transfer of learning where this creates value for Aker BP
• Develop and maintain input to business management system (BMS) within discipline
• Ensure compliance to Aker BP standards and processes
• Understand and deliver business improvements according to LEAN principles
• Some travelling must be expected

Qualifications

• Bachelor or master`s degree within electrical power engineering
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
• Vocational certificates within the electrical profession count positively
• Fluent in Norwegian and English
• Knowledge of the design and operation of HVAC systems
• Operational experience in the operation and maintenance of electrical power system within one or more of following topics; Generation systems, drives and starters for motors, Switchboard systems, ATEX, electrical system analyzes, strategies and routines, NORSOK and IEC standards
