Department manager and Technical Authority for Enterprise of Competency

Aker Solutions has recently secured new long-term contracts on the Norwegian Continental Shelf, and the project portfolio in Stavanger is rapidly expanding. We are now recruiting several new employees to strengthen our teams and prepare for future growth.

Aker Solutions' Enterprise of Competency department in Stavanger is looking for a Department manager for the Technical Authority department. This is an exciting opportunity where the candidate will lead the team and develop our ambitious growth plans within this market segment. Leader for the Technical Authority group will be a part of the AIM (Asset Integrity Management) team and report directly to Head of AIM Norway.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and develop Technical Authority, Enterprise of comp. as a business area with in Aker Solutions
• Follow-up external clients and new business opportunities
• Interact and communicate with internal customers and other business areas in Aker solutions, i.e. disciplines, projects, and global operations
• Personnel and discipline responsibility, general personnel management
• Recruitment and onboarding of new employees
• Develop and maintain areas of critical competence
• Develop and maintain operating documents/procedures
• When needed, perform inspection of lifting equipment and appliances, calculations and design verification of lifting operations and structural capacity
• Travel offshore when required

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
• Qualifications according to "Tilleggskriterier for sakkyndig virksomhet"
• Complete G11 certificate
• Knowledge and experience to qualify under S1
• Experience from lifting operations offshore
• Good knowledge of general computer technology
• Good verbal and written skills, both Norwegian and English
• Valid health and offshore certificate
